Hi there, I was wondering what's your top speed with your Octane?
I'm still under the 500 miles service, but mine top speed is 140 km/u = 87 mph.

130 mph = 209 km/h.. The speedo probably outrange in kilometers.

I've got up to 90 a few times now with about 340 miles down so far. I live in the city so I don't get too many opportunities to crank it hard, gonna be taking it to the countryside for some real fun.
I gave her the hard break in for the first few miles so she's good. I'll be changing the oil before my next ride.

Rode with my buddy from work who has a Victory Hammer and we got them to about 110 easy, however it does get some vibration and the fairing stops being helpful.
Only thing that bothers me after attending Victory demo days is how the 106in Victory engine on bikes like Hammer, Magnum and the like have low rpm at high speeds doing 60+mph still around 2.5k rpm and this is still in 5th gear with a 6 gear box. Now on the Octane I will be in 6th and already around 3.5k rpm at around 65+ mph and at highway speeds 75+ mpg the bike feels like its doing heavy work (4k+ rpm). What gives? Any way to change gearing rpm ranges?

BTW this is on a stock bike, with nothing added

It's easy to forget that the Octane is a completely different beast. Compare it's 8k redline to the 5.5k redline of the air cooled bikes and you'll see that the "sweet spot" is at a higher RPM on the Octane. It has enough torque to lug around, but that's not what it was designed to do.

I've got 1400 miles on mine and have crossed over 120mph a couple of times... but 80+ for me I won't maintain for long periods of time because of the vibration.

105 mph vibrates a lot and the speedometer seems to bounce quite a bit not sure if it's the vibration or my speedometer

130 mph , you got to get down on it and hang on . I'm sure some good Radial tires will help somewhat

I haven't noticed the vibration you guys speak of too much, then again I've only hit 90. I agree though, a bit wider radials could make a difference.

Im here in south Florida and I have hit 120 a few times as well, that small shield though doesn't quite protect you from the wind at those speeds so it is shaky. Powerful bike!

I took my fairing and front fender off so the wind at those speeds beat me up pretty good as well and the bike became very shaky.

115 at around 6k in 6th gear. That's all I cared to know lol. This bike is a handful at triple digit speeds with no wind protection.
